Thirty Years of Making Things Work.
The industries have changed. The work has not.
The Coterie Group was incorporated in 1993. What it has done since then has changed many times — and that has always been intentional.
In 1997, we created one of the first online shopping directories in Canada, before most people understood what the internet would become. We developed debit card programs and payment infrastructure at a time when digital payments were still being defined. We led development teams in Brazil to build online banking systems. We worked with financial institutions across North America implementing payment frameworks and systems. We have been involved in real estate, capital markets, technology, and platform development across multiple decades and multiple countries.
None of that was a straight line. It was the result of seeing problems, deciding to solve them, and building whatever was required to do that — across industries, across borders, and across decades.
That is still how we operate today. The Coterie Group exists to solve problems that others cannot or will not. If a need is real and a solution does not exist, we build one. That is what brought us to Meridian36. That is what brought us to CapitalOS. And that is what will bring us to whatever comes next.
Our Structure
The Coterie Group Ltd. is a federally incorporated company in Canada, operating across North America and serving as the parent organization for the group’s capital architecture, platform development, and advisory activities.
The Coterie Group S.L. is registered in Spain and serves as the group’s European operating entity, managing relationships, transactions, and platform activity across Spain and the broader European market.
Together they form a single integrated operation with presence, relationships, and execution capability on both sides of the Atlantic.

“Bring us your challenge. We will design the structure or build the platform that makes it work. That is what we have done for 30 years — and it is what we will keep doing.”
